Hey Wingers!

For those of you who missed the reunion (in some cases, AGAIN!), shame on you!!  We had a great time - good food, wonderful friends, some old, some new, good food, great auction, good food, and the hotel was just excellent!  The people were wonderful and they couldn't do enough for you.  But, aside from the good food (did I mention that  already?), the fellowship was the highlight of the weekend.  I really wish more of you would make an effort to come and join us for a rompin' good time.

And did I forget to mention the entertainment?  Oh my goodness!  We had some beautiful women, with voices like angels', serenade us for a very short time (seem to me it was very short anyway).  The ladies were the daughters and granddaughters of our very fine former President and his wife, Alan and Linda Meyer.  Of course, they got their good looks and their talent all from Linda.

Of course, Alan's talent came out during the auction where once again, he served as auctioneer.  It's plain that this man could convince a drowning man to spend a lot of money on a glass of water!  We all got some good bargains, for which we spent good money, but it was all for a worthy cause.

I sincerely hope and pray that next year, you folks who didn't come this year will take a chance and come next year.  Now, we understand, illness kept quite a few away this year.  But please come and join us in Arkansas next year where Bill and Mary Moore will be our hosts.  Now, if you don't know Bill, let me tell you, he'll make sure its a memorable reunion.  And Mary will put on the feed bag real good.  So, hopefully we'll see a bigger crowd next year in Tillar, Arkansas.  I send on more information as it comes in.

By the way, we have new officers this year - Alan Meyer stepped down so that another Winger could have the joy of being President - the crown goes to Richard "Chappie" Chapman who stepped in to help when Alan needed him.  Paul Hickenbottom was elected Vice-President.  So, if you have any complaints, you know who to go to!!
Thanks, Carole

Don't forget! (yes, its another year!)
YOUR DUES OF $25.00 IS DUE NOW.  IF YOU HAVEN'T SENT THEM IN YET, PLEASE SEND THEM TO PAM CHAPMAN AS SOON AS YOU CAN.
